The Dalmore Introduces New Distillery Select Series



The Dalmore Single Malt Whisky unveils The Distillery Select Series. 2024 marks the first of a new series of limited edition expressions. The collection features very rare parcels of spirit laid down in specific casks hand-selected by The Dalmore’s whisky makers. Each expression was selected to highlight how the casks enhance an element of The Dalmore’s signature house style. Each of the three whiskies is natural colour, non-chill filtered and bottled at specifically selected ABV. 

The Dalmore Distillery Select 2009 Vintage Sherry Cask Finish (2024 Bottling), strictly limited to 2736 bottles only, RRP: £300.

  • Aroma; Manuka honey, a hint of cinnamon, and banana bread

  • Tasting Notes; Orchard fruits, Golden Delicious apples, poached pears intertwined with Ogen melons

  • Finishing Notes; Sultanas, liquorice, mandarin orange and a touch of cacao

This 15 Year Old Single Malt is finished in exceptionally rare vintage sherry casks sourced exclusively from the finest wine makers of Spain, González Byass. Distilled in 2009 this rich whisky is bottled at 52.8% which allows the antique vintage sherry characteristics to shine.   

The Dalmore Distillery Select 2007 Amarone and Port Cask finishes (2024 Bottling), strictly limited to 918 bottles only, RRP: £1,000

  • Aroma: Warm summer fruits, raspberry myrtle, succulent Victoria plums and maraschino cherry

  • Tasting Notes: Rich forest fruits interlaced with vanilla

  • Finishing Notes: Panna cotta, floral notes and a hint of violet

This 17 Year Old Single Malt, distilled in 2007, is finished in a duo of casks, whose influence on the whisky fascinated The Dalmore’s whisky makers. Italian and Portuguese wine makers work hand in hand with nature to craft exceptional expressions of their estates. The marriage of each component creates a unique Single Malt Scotch whisky, an expression of Portuguese and Italian influences. Bottled at 45.8%, selected by the whisky makers to expose the complexity of flavour this expression offers.

The Dalmore Distillery Select 2000 Vintage Calvados Finish (2024 Bottling), strictly limited to 383 bottles only, RRP: £5,000.

  • Aroma; A dusting of sugared almonds, rich apple and plums

  • Tasting Notes; Red berries, freshly crushed apple and pears 

  • Finishing Notes; Liquorice, antique wood spice and a touch of balsamic

This 24 Year Old Single Malt Whisky, distilled in 2000, is bottled at 50.3% strength, selected to ensure the antique flavour characteristics of this very rare whisky shines. After an initial maturation in American white oak, allowing the spirit to settle and soften, this whisky is finished in hand-selected Vintage Calvados, sourced from the House of Drouin, France.
